My contribution
I connected UX/UI, software and engineering around the GMC, Buick and Chevrolet experience requirements.
Key decisions
Establish the driver and brand priorities to preserve, then use prototypes to distinguish essential requirements from details that could adapt to platform constraints.
Delivery & outcome
UX/UI direction carried into vehicle-program interfaces and functions, with supporting contributions to the Cadillac team.

Preserve the brand.
Work within the platform.

GMC, Buick and Chevrolet needed distinct digital experiences across vehicle programs. Display obscuration, chip performance and operating-system capabilities could all affect how a proposed interface was implemented. Decisions about brand expression, visibility and interaction needed to hold together as the work moved between design, software and engineering.

The challenge was to make those constraints part of a shared design discussion, with a clear route from the intended experience to something the teams could prototype, test and implement.

Agree on the priorities.
Adapt to the platform.

For GMC, Buick and Chevrolet, I established the driver and brand priorities that needed to carry into implementation. Discussions with software and engineering then made clear where display obscuration, chip performance or operating-system capabilities affected a proposal and which aspects of the experience needed to be preserved.

Prototypes made the implications visible. I used them to examine how a platform compromise would change the experience, then helped the teams distinguish essential requirements from details that could adapt. This gave each brand a practical route through the constraints while keeping design and engineering working toward the same outcome.

Distinct experiences.
A workable direction.

The resulting work connects the GMC, Buick and Chevrolet design direction with cockpit interfaces, driving states and vehicle functions across programs including HUMMER EV, Denali, Silverado, Blazer, Corvette E-Ray and Corvette Z06. The examples show how brand priorities were carried into the vehicle experience.

The portfolio also includes supporting contributions to the Cadillac team on Lyriq, Celestiq, CT5 V-Series and XT6. My primary management responsibility remained GMC, Buick and Chevrolet.
