- My contribution
- I contributed to research, prototyping and interface development for automotive service technicians within my Bosch UX/HMI work.
- Key decisions
- Translate interview findings into priorities, then use prototypes and evaluation to resolve workflow questions.
- Delivery & outcome
- An evaluated prototype and interface proposals covering connection, tool selection, measurement, playback and analysis.

Connect tool capability
with the technician’s workflow.
The diagnostic tool needed to support connection, measurement and analysis without making technicians work around the interface. The challenge was to organize complex functions around the way service work actually happened.
Turn field findings
into decisions the team could test.
I used findings from eleven service-technician interviews in Michigan and three expert interviews to establish opportunity areas and design principles. That made the task priorities explicit before refining the interface.
I connected those priorities with prototypes and user evaluation, using feedback to resolve navigation, measurement and information-presentation questions. The work kept the discussion grounded in technician needs as the proposal developed.
An evaluated workflow
from connection to analysis.
The resulting prototype brought together connection guidance, tool selection, measurement views, playback and analysis. Evaluation supplied feedback on navigation clarity and access to important functions.
The gallery connects the research and iteration with the resulting interface proposal.
