Anchoring customer journey with service touchpoints and illustrated scenarios

Connect product development
with the customer journey.

The anchoring product range needed a customer-centered go-to-market perspective. The challenge was to connect service opportunities across development, buying and construction with continued development of the QuickFixer tool.

Create a shared view
of the opportunities.

I connected stakeholder interviews with customer-journey mapping so touchpoints and pain points could be considered across the full task. The findings became design principles and an online and offline service framework.

Co-creation generated 28 service ideas, with eight developed further through journey mapping. I used the scenarios to make the opportunities specific enough for product and strategy discussions.

Service opportunities
made concrete.

The work produced proposals for anchor selection, shopping lists, inventory, sales support and management tools. Know Now and Crowd Supply illustrated how selected services could fit the customer journey.

The framework and scenarios connected product questions with opportunities for a broader customer experience.
